Spent one whole Sunday night here due to easy proximity of my doctors appointment. First time also staying in Hilton-brand hotel. It was overall a very good experience, even though first we got uncleaned room when we arrived a little past 2pm. The reseptionist however upgraded it to a better one for free, and the new room was very clean at the 6th floor. The view was nice towards the sea, though there are some major construction work by city of Helsinki, so keep that in mind noise-wise too (lower rooms). Our room however was some of the quietest I have been in Helsinki. I slept really well and the bed was ok. The rooms were pretty spacy too, if comparing to some other hotels in Finland. As a very nice bonus, there was a bathtub too, which is not that common in other hotels in Finland. Hotel itself is a blast from the 80s, as a nostalgic old hotel. Some comments also mention the room coldness and it was true for us too. It was -15C outside and our room radiator was a bit cold, so the air ventilation made it a bit chilly due to constant normal airflow. I asked the receptionist if they could turn up the radiator, and the nice lady did. She even called the rolm to confirm the change. So definately ask if in winter you feel cold in your room.

I found the location to be extremely convenient. It’s close to the city center, several ports where ferries to various destinations depart, and within easy reach of bus and tram stations, making it well-connected to the rest of the city and to the airport. The rooms are spacious, featuring a comfortable seating area with armchairs and a table. Both the beds and pillows are very comfortable. I stayed in a sea-view room, and the sunrise views were absolutely stunning. The hotel offers a swimming pool on the top floor, which, though small, was perfectly fine as I had it to myself. There are also balconies with sunbeds, ideal for relaxing and sunbathing. The fitness center is small as well, but with a beautiful sea view that makes the space feel more pleasant, and again, I found it empty during my stay. One of the highlights of my experience was the breakfast buffet, which was rich, varied, and delicious. The hotel’s restaurant is a pizzeria that opens after 4 p.m., offering excellent food at very reasonable prices. Lastly, the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, adding to the overall positive experience.

It was my first time staying in Helsinki, but I'm really glad I could stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and the sofa bed was of sufficient size. When I checked in and entered the room, I felt the hospitality with the floor heating in the bathroom. It was a very pleasant service for us Japanese to be able to use slippers if we requested them at the front desk. Additionally, the breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious. It was convenient to have a supermarket nearby, and we could easily reach the city center by tram. We have fallen in love with the city of Helsinki. Thank you.

We loved the location. Its close to the Xmas markets and a fantastic shopping and dining area. We walked easily to all locations. Breakfast was good value and had an excellent variety. The Duty Manager on our first morning, Darren was wonderful. So friendly and knowledgable about the area. He was very helpful showing us maps and suggesting things for our family to do. Thanks Darren! The staff were very helpful with storing suitcases and getting our rooms ready a little earlier when needed. We had a fabulous experience.

Wonderful service, helpful staff in every corner of the hotel, they try to meet all your expectations. Separate thanks to Food and Beverage manager, who showed her professional skills and organized every part of her work in a best manner. Excellent breakfast, very good sound insulation at the room - to have extremely comfort and quiet sleep. The place is perfect for stay while traveling to Helsinki.
